The Evergreen Child Development Center accepts children ages 2 weeks to 12 years. We are conveniently located between Western Michigan University and Bronson hospital, on the campus of Evergreen Academy, at 2121 Hudson Street with our entrance located on Peeler Street. We are a Great Start Readiness Program site, offering a FREE 4 year old preschool program to qualified applicants. Evergreen is a year round program, and offers a summer program for children ages 4 years to 12 years. Hours of operation are 6:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Toilet training is not required to enroll at Evergreen Child Development Center. Staff members are CPR and First Aid Certified. Immunizations are required. Breakfast, Lunch, and PM snack are included.

Infant Caterpillar Room

 

 

The Caterpillar Room is for Infants 2 weeks through 18 months of age. Our skilled staff uses creative curriculum to engage your child and help promote them to meet developmental milestones.

Ladybug Room

 

 

The Toddler Ladybug Room is for toddlers 1 year to 2 years of age (or potty trained). Our skilled staff uses a combination of child-led and teacher-led activities to engage your child and help promote them to meet developmental milestones.

Pre-School Frog Room

 

 

The Pre-School Frog Room is for preschool children aged 3 to 5 years. Our skilled staff uses Creative Curriculum, including child-led and teacher-led activities, to help your child progress in their social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth.

GSRP Pre-Kindergarten / School Age Monkey Room

 

 

From 8:00am – 3:00pm the Monkey Room is the location of our free Great Start Readiness Program Pre-Kindergarten classroom. This room is for children who are 4 years old on or before September 1. The Monkey Room uses Creative Curriculum, including child-led and teacher-led activities, to help your child become ready for Kindergarten. GSRP is a state-funded pre-kindergarten program available to families who qualify. To find out if you qualify, see the director for an application. The Monkey Room is also the location for before and after school care, for children ages 5 to 12 years. Our before and after school staff provides help with homework and offer indoor and outdoor choices to assist your child’s development in social, emotional, physical and educational growth.
