Meet Megan – A Passionate Educator and Leader in Early Childhood
With over a decade of experience in early childhood education, including three years as a first-grade teacher, Megan has dedicated her career to fostering young learners’ growth and development. She earned her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from WMU in 2020, solidifying her commitment to providing high-quality education and care.
Megan’s leadership and vision recently led Augusta CDC to outgrow its original space, prompting an exciting move to the Augusta Academy building—a testament to her dedication and the strong community she’s built.
Outside of work, Megan is a loving mother to two boys and a proud dog mom to her beloved golden retriever. Whether she’s shaping young minds in the classroom or spending time with her family, her passion for children and education shines through in everything she does.

Originally opened in 1984, we are now located inside the former Augusta Academy at 600 W. Michigan in Augusta, Michigan, conveniently situated between Battle Creek and Kalamazoo. After moving to our new location just one year ago, we now offer a large indoor gym and a fantastic outdoor play area for kids to enjoy. We also provide a great summer program and care during school holiday breaks for school-age children. We are proud to be the only center-based daycare in Augusta!
