Meet Lasheena – A Passionate Leader and Devoted Mom
Lasheena has spent the past seven years shaping young minds, and her passion for children is truly contagious. Since becoming the Director of Post CDC in 2023, she has been dedicated to creating a nurturing and enriching environment for both children and staff. With a CDA in early childhood education and ongoing studies in child care administration, she is constantly striving to enhance early learning experiences.
As a mother of two with another little one on the way, Lasheena understands firsthand the importance of quality early childhood education. Whether she’s supporting teachers, connecting with families, or jumping into a classroom activity, her warmth and energy shine through in everything she does.

Our newest location, opened in 2021 in the old Post School, features completely renovated classrooms and houses two GSRP preschool classrooms in addition to our other classes! We offer a large indoor gym and a fenced-in play area, with a brand-new playground coming in the spring of 2025. Conveniently located near downtown Battle Creek and directly across from the Post Cereal Factory, we’re surrounded by the delightful aroma of Cocoa Pebbles cereal all day long! We're also close to Post Franklin School, with bussing arrangements available for before and after-school care.
